You can update addon installations with the Addon Store.
The current version does however not detect existing Python addon installations.
So just remove the Blenderer folder from your My Commands folder: C:/Users/(Your user)/Documents/Visual Components/(Version)/My Commands
After that you can install it via Addon Store.
From there on you will be able to easily upgrade to future Blenderer versions.
