I tried to attach a VC tools to VC generic articulated robot and for most of the time I found a way to get the green arrow but tools couldn’t snap to the robot’s flange and stayed on the floor.
Is there any specific approach angle or view angle which help to snap the tool?
Are you using the ortographic projection? Please disable it when using plug-and-play tool for attaching robot tools or other components that are in different Z-coordinate than the other PnP-interface.
You might also want to disable the checkbox “Always snap”, as it can prevent the connection because it tries to force the component location in a grid.
Thank you for your answer. I did a bit of trial and orthographic projection was the root cause.
Always snap I have had turned off.
