I’m recently trying the welding part of the OLP module (my recent posts seem to start like this 
), and I don’t quite understand the welding template part; more precisely, I don’t understand its origin.
I browsed the current Academy, and it seems to be almost completely missing this section. Where can I obtain information about it? For example, its expected format and so on.

What didn’t you undestand specifically? Is it the WPS file?
You can see some example files if you go to your robot settings and click browse in the WPS file option. There’s a folder with examples for each manufacturer.

Happy New Year! To be precise, I’m not very familiar with the template import section (XML/CSV). I’ve seen their descriptions in the help files, which are usually just one sentence, but I’m not quite sure how to obtain them (at least not when I posted this).
Fortunately, I’ve managed to export usable XML from NX. Though I’m not sure why it’s offset by 8.78 on the weld Z-axis compared to my settings in NX.
I’ll also look into the WPS files you mentioned later. Thank you so much for pointing out the example location!

Got it, unfortunately I’ve never imported the template from the CAD. I’ve only made templates directly with the WPS file.

My attempt in NX was successful, but now I want to export this data from CATIA. Has anyone done this operation before? I couldn’t find a similar direct export to XML function in CATIA like in NX.
