I have a Visual Components file I had been playing with and made some progress on. Now, suddenly, trying to open the file creates the usual loading bar but it hangs at Loading Layout and eventually crashes. Application closes with no warnings or error messages. Any clue what I can do to troubleshoot?

Have you tried checking the logs for any errors? You can find the log files in C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Visual Components\
and in that folder look for your VC version and Logs folder under that.
If you don’t find a solution from the logs, it’s probably best if you contact the VC technical support. Send the problematic file, log files, and a description of the problem.
