Hy,
I’m using VC 4.10.1 and there I have a layout when I close it different components stay in layout and only way is to close VC completly.
I got following message in output panel:
“Failed to close layout, message: “Ein Aufrufziel hat einen Ausnahmefehler verursacht.”, see log for details”
I was not able yet to find some useful in VC logfiles because last timestamp was 1 hour ago…
I try to reinstall VC complete and hope that helps.

after reinstall VC completly the layout issue seems to be fixed but I got this message in logs, is that normal?
