Using RoboTeam in Premium 4.6 & KUKA OLP

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience of using RoboTeam with KUKA robots in Premium 4.6 with KUKA OLP enabled?

We’ve followed the instructions in the KUKA Programming Help file and can jog the robots in simultaneous motion but when we come to program them, we cannot access the specific RoboTeam commands in the Logic section of the programming tab.

Even if we ignore the RoboTeam commands and use simple jogged motions, we receive an error saying that the BaseFrame is not connected to the flange node of the master robot. We know that it is as we can move the master robot and the slave moves with it.

This is our test file, any help on it would be great!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Hello,

  1. We cannot access the specific RoboTeam commands in the Logic section of the programming tab.
-Did you add the optional packages to both robots?

  2. we receive an error saying that the BaseFrame is not connected to the flange node of the master robot.
-As said in the output panel,
Robot frame BASE_DATA[1] is not attached to KR 120 R2700-2 #2 (mountplate).

For the Base[1] of the slave robot (KR 120 R2700-2), you have to attach to the Node to the KR 120 R2700-2 #2::mountplate and not the KR 120 R2700-2 #2::A6

Hi Popeye,

Thanks for your help.

We’ve corrected the second error and that message has disappeared but we still can’t get the RoboTeam commands to become available; they look like this on both robots.

We’re not sure where we add the RoboTeam option to the robots as the network mapping suggests that they are in one RoboTeam network and we can jog the robots in co-ordinated motion.

Thanks again

Hi,

Did you ‘Create workspace’ and selected the robot?

After creating the workspace, you should see the RoboTeam commands,

Hi,

Sorry, been away on vacation.

Yes, we’ve created the workspace and selected the robot, but the commands are not available.

Hi,

I can’t reproduce your issue. I have the commands enabled.

One last thing to check, did you add the Optional package to the robot?
