Signalling 2 robots

So basically, I have a station on assembly line. There are three robots.
The center robot is having gripper which picks the battery from conveyer and holds it upwards beneath the car. The other 2 robots are placed on either side of the center robot. The 2 robots have tightening tool as powerhead.
So left robot does the tightening of left side bolts of battery whereas the right robot does tighten for right side bolts.
Now I need help in signaling the robots. So how to signal the center robot that after picking up the battery and holding it underneath the car the job of center robot is done and now the adjacent robots can start the tightening process simultaneously.
