Works OK for me, could you upload a sample vcmx?
Hy,
jes here a pic what I’ve changed and the vcmx:
Here a pic of the vcax with the problem:
I think it’s a bug! → I’m using VC 4.9.1
Recording.vcax (547.8 KB)
ScaleProblemInVcax.vcmx (702.2 KB)
Thx & Regards
The root cause is from minus numbers -1, if you want to export the inverted faces, you could invert features
Hy,
but that’s not same what I want to do, I must do exactly this at the root of kinematic chain:
In VC the result of this operation is quite good and only the exported vcax is ugly (because its displayed wrong in Experience), so in my oppinion there is a bug in vcax export!
Can you forward this to VC Development if there is no other way/trick?!
Thx & Regards
Sure, I will check with the developers. May I ask, if inverted faces are not what you need, what is the reason you want to have Sy(-1)?
Hy,
jes thats nice!
Because it behaves other but maybe a combination makes sense do you know python command for that?
I mirror whole chain!
Thx & Regards
Hi @captain_feature,
have you tried the mirror feature Vector(-1,1,1) instead of the Transform feature Sx(-1)?
OK, I can reproduce it with simple block, it’s 34275
Hy @cassian35 ,
and how would you write this approach into a offset expression of an link like in following picture?
Thx & Regards
I missed the part with the link. The mirror approach does not work in that case.
