In Visual Components, assembly requires pre-assembly in the Product Type Editor first. However, if the component you need is something that has been assembled through a process, i.e., a defined assembly, how should I operate it?

you could either use a sub-assembly –> define the first assembly, then select it as Default Product and in the Product Filter in the second assembly. It won’t show the geometry of the sub-assembly, but you can change the size of the yellow block if you need, or use another product as standard product to position it easier and then change it with the assembly.
Another solution would be to have a product corresponding to your first assembly. That way, once you finished assembling the first assembly, you can delete it and create the corresponding product, and it will be easier to assemble it in the second assembly.
