Possible Robot Wizard 🪄

Hi there,

I would like to propose the question (especially @ admins), if there is a robot wizard planned for the future. I am curious because I stumbled into the problem of modelling my own robot and kinda managed to do so, but, as described in the tutorial it is kinda an ugly process of copy and paste geometry information into an already existing robot. In my case, I did not model an articulated robot instead I tried to model a linear robot.

In such cases it might be easier and more comfortable to have a robot wizard, similar to the positioner wizard adding all the necessary information and links.

If someone would be so kind to answer if such a wizard is planed, I would be more than happy. :blush::v:

as a note, Do you know the tutorial for modeling a Cartesian robot?

You need to work with the “Template 3-Axis Cartesian” from category “Component Templates” in eCat, more:
