Operator to perform work in multiple location using process modeling.

I’m configuring a manual line where operator is having to load part type 1 into ST1 then step out of the safety scanner and press a button. After that operator needs to pick up part 2 and load into the ST1.
is there a way to designate additional process w/o moving the object?

i would like to be able to load part, do work 1 at location 1, do work 2 at location 2, …

This sounds similar to how one of the example layouts in VC eCatalog functions. The layout I have in mind is the Car Door Assembly. It has processes that combine material loading and work statements.

Maybe it will give you an idea on how your problem can be solved.
