During April and early May, the 5.0 eCatalog has got many updates. Here’s some recent updates that have not been announced yet:
New manufacturer: Robotphoenix
10 delta robots from Robotphoenix Bat series have been added.
New robot: Kawasaki MXP710L
New robot workpiece positioner: ABB IRBP A250
Naming changes: Hyundai robots
Recently Hyundai has changed naming of many robot models (HD Hyundai Robotics). These new names are now present in 5.0 eCatalog.
The old names are included in Tags section of the component metadata, meaning that typing the old name to the Search bar will yield the model as a search result. Similar solution is used for example in some FANUC models that have different names in US and EU markets.
Quality of life improvements
Angle tolerance parameter of PnP interfaces has been decreased to 45 degrees in Visual Components Crossing, Turntable, Lift and Shuttle conveyor components. In practice, this makes it easier to connect exactly the correct interfaces when joining the unit between existing conveyors.
