Maximum count of triangles

Hello everyone,

I am currently researching the utilization of virtual commissioning with Visual Components. I have created my own model and successfully reduced its triangle count from approximately 5 million to 1.5 million. However, I am having difficulty finding posts, documents, or tutorials regarding the triangle count limit for virtual commissioning. Does anyone have information on what the triangle count limit is when using virtual commissioning with Visual Components? Or is there no specific limit?

Kind regards,
Jacco

Iā€™m not familiar with any hard limit.

Of course, as your models get heavier, your performance decreases.
You can compensate for heavy models by having more powerful hardware on your PC.

The simulation logic and connectivity IO-count also significantly affect the overall performance.

Thank you for the reply. I suppose I will conduct some experiments with different triangle and I/O counts.

I think that would be the best way to go forward. VC is pretty powerful when it comes to handling 3D models.
I have projects with +100M triangles. However, I have not used virtual commissioning in such large projects.
