Hi,

in our company we are using floating licenses and sometimes, all licenses are taken. Now the additional user does not know, who is using all the licenses. Maybe, one user forgot to close VC after working with it etc.
Does anyone have a convenient approach to this issue?

I don’t want to send an e-mail to all the possible users everytime a license is needed.
I tried to create a WinForms application, where I read the usage log from the license server and display who is currently using a license. This does not always work, because sometimes log entries are missing.

Hi, can’t you just look in the ‘Products’ (usage info) and ‘Clients’ tab (usage) in your license server?
There you can see which computers are using the floating licenses

I want everyone to have a look at the licences. Especially the ones who need one and no license is available.
