We are a Spin-off/ startup of the University of Magdeburg. Our name is byte robotics. We are developing an innovative software technology for those working with KUKA.Sim 4.3 and industrial robots. VC will follow later. Our new plugin for KUKA.Sim automates the creation of robot programs – collision-free and cycle time optimized. Within minutes.
In the current state, you can use the following features:
- Automatic generation of collision-free, cycletime-optimised paths “two-click-planning”, saving you valuable time during planning.
- Cycle time optimization for several robot sub-tasks / effective motions, including generation of optimal transition motions (currently hard to use).
- Enable robot tasks by using degrees of freedom of the manufacturing process to modify task description.
- Seamless integration into your existing KUKA.Sim environment – no complex setup, no unnecessary experimenting.
- Easy to deinstall if you don’t want to stick with it.
For some of you cycle time optimisation focus will be interesting, for others may the potential time savings while motion generation is more interesting.
We’re looking for beta-testers who’d like to try out this technology before its release and share their feedback with us.
