[HotFix] for Known Issue for Visual Components | KUKA.Sim

Since Visual Components 4.3 we was annoyed with a bug in Visual Comonents. We created an hotfix for our own. After that we didn’t care about this any more. But while reading the release notes for 4.10 we find out this is still a problem.

VC crashes after the computer has been put into standby or hibernation mode.

So we want you to provide our hotfix to have a more convinient use of Visual Components and KUKA.Sim.

It should work for VC 4.3 | 4.9 | 4.10 and KUKA.Sim 4.3 | 4.10. Just copy the .dll into the installation folder of VC or KUKA.Sim. To deinstall it just delete it there.

Seems your plugin automates the workaround of minimizing (or hiding) the application window when computer goes to sleep using the .NET SystemEvents.PowerModeChanged event and then always brings it back up when resuming from sleep.

Issue with KVM Switch Causing VC to Freeze

This sounds like bit different way to trigger a known bug in Microsoft WPF (which VC uses for UI), which is caused by losing monitor due to sleep or hibernation and WPF not recovering from it when resuming. Minimizing the application before such switch is the only known workaround.
