Hi all, When I record video during the machine process, I want hide/optical the machine cover so that to see animation clearly. What is the easy way? When the product go into the machine, then the machine cover should hide/optical, then we can easy see the process inside.
Hi @victory, there are different ways to achieve this. One way I can think of immediately, if you need to hide that part at a certain moment in the simulation is this:
- Put the machine cover into a
Switchfeature and add a boolean property to itsChoicefield to control visibilty.
- Then add a process somewhere, wait until the exact moment and then set boolean to False using
GetPropertyandAssign.
Same control can be achieved also with signals, or completely in a Py script somewhere, but this option seems pretty easy.
Initially, I tried to use the View Editor (hide/unhide) while recording a video, but the hide/unhide actions were not captured. It seems that VC does not record View Editor operations, unlike SolidWorks Composer, which I used previously.
