I am currently trying to design a floor layout on visual components, and in the middle of me doing so a big portion of the grid area ends up just graying out, and I’m not sure why. When it does this I can’t see my layout where the grayed out area is. VC itself is running smoothly, I’m just not sure how to help/prevent the grid view from graying out.
In some cases the automatic, continuous, adjustment of the camera near and far clipping planes may produce unexpected results, and anything outside the range gets drawn as the background color.
You can try setting the Center Of Interest or selecting some relevant part of the model and using the “Fill selected” command to get the camera to adjust to your view.
Setting the center of interest did help, thank you! However, now my file is running slower than it was before, would you know why that’s happening?
