Use the Energy Cable Wizard to create nice energy cables in your models. It comes with 2 modes, simple and detailed. The detailed mode still has work left to be perfect, but still looks really nice.

When you have created your cable, you get a new tab with properties, where you can change the values of the cable even after it has been created, if you for example picked the wrong radius. Use the move tool set to hierarchy to move the whole cable to the correct place in the model.

Hi does this work for Kuka Sim? as I copied the addon to my Commands but the Energy cable wizard doesnt appear under the list of wizards on the menu

@CalvinCarson1 it appears under “Modelling”, not under “Start” … It works on 4.3

On current demo 4.01 version it doesnt appear

I’m guessing that KUKA.Sim just doesn’t support custom wizards like these.
You could try enabling the Modeling add-on first if you have a license for that.

Anyway, this forum is not really for any KUKA.Sim issues, it is better to contact KUKA’s support.

The energy cable drag wizard works great, but for one of my cables I need it to roll in the opposite direction. The end of the energy cable that is fixed should move with the axis, and the end that is moving with the axis should be fixed.
How can this be changed?
