I would very much like to see the promised ‘part 2 and 3’ of the lesson in question if they are available.

You got it. Should be published this week. Part 2 will show how to create different parts and modify template vs created part. Part 3 will show how to read in a table or csv file to create an order/batch.

Part 2 is available in Academy. I recommend downloading the lesson files, and then reviewing the final version of the feeder and layout made in the lesson. You can also compare the feeder made in the lesson to the Shape Feeder in the eCatalog panel.
