Control Real robot from KUKA sim

I am looking for a definitive answer to the following question:

Can I connect a physical robot to kuka sim such that I can manipulate the robot in the sim and the real robot will mimic it in realtime.

I have posed this question to KUKA and am waiting for a response so wanted to ask the same question here.

From my understanding, it’s not possible to jog a real robot from KUKA Sim due to safety reasons.

However, it is possible to download a robot program, modify it, and upload it back to the robot, and then monitor the robot as it moves.

With the new KUKA iiQWorks.Sim I think it should be possible to control the robot live with a virtual teach pendant.

Though you need to have a new KUKA robot with suitable OS version that supports this.
