Has anyone had success adding and simulating machines/robots that were not within the ECatalog? If so please share what worked best for you.

create a folder on shared volume, where you organize your stuff and add this with the + in ecat section on each VC Installation.

Also, you need to have either the Professional or Premium version of the VC application to add intelligence to your own models.
CAD models can be imported in all versions.
