3d View Port turns black and does not resume

Hello VC Team,

After I installed version 4.8, I am facing a strange problem related to 3d viewport screen. When i rotate the model in the viewport, suddenly the screen turns black and it does not resume. I have to restart the VC again and same problem repeats while modeling. Can you please look at it problem . It never occured in the earlier version. Not able to use VC because of this issue.

That sounds like a graphics driver issue, try updating them or using discrete NVIDIA GPU if you aren’t already.

I think this is a known issue with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, which is resolved by installing latest graphics drivers from Intel’s website. Alternatively if you have a dedicated GPU in your machine, change the settings in Windows to use that instead.
