Using a Workpiece Positioner to rotate robot, as if it were a circular track


I am currently working on a robotic system, where the robot will be running on a circular track. To emulate the robot on the track, i want to attach it to a workpiece positioner, and rotate the robot this way. My issue is, that i can attach the robot to the positioner, and the system works as intended, but when i reset the system, the robot detaches.

What could be the reason for this?

To replicate:

  1. Add robot
  2. Attach robot a box.
  3. Attach box to a workpiece positioner.
  4. Rotate the workpiece positioner and notice that the robot is following.
  5. Reset the system.
  6. The robot is detached.
