Something that was not mentioned in the webinar:
Save the python file with UTF-8 encoding and it supports directly all kinds of characters. So if you want to do the translations to e.g. Russian language using cyrillic characters make sure the file is set to UTF-8.
(It’s easy to do e.g. in Sublime Text 2 -editor: File => Save with Encoding => UTF-8)
